Job summary

MoonPay is seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to own PayBox end-to-end, from problem identification to production. You’ll drive 0→1 development and partner with a focused team, shaping AI-driven payment and peer-to-peer experiences while integrating across the PayBox ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own significant areas of PayBox end-to-end, from problem identification to production.
• Drive 0→1 development and growth for PayBox.
• Build new payment and peer-to-peer experiences designed for AI interfaces.
• Create integrations across AI platforms, apps, and the PayBox ecosystem.
• Develop infrastructure and product experiences to onboard new apps and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product to turn ambitious ideas into simple, usable experiences.
• Polish onboarding and UX to reduce friction and improve adoption.
• Reason from first principles on tough technical problems and prioritize effectively.
• Move across product areas to tackle high-impact problems.
• Leverage AI to accelerate delivery while maintaining technical judgment.
