CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, while mentoring teams across the stack.

You will champion DevOps, cloud-native practices, and the integration of AI-driven features to automate workflows and deliver intelligent insights, with a focus on Payer Operations and data-driven outcomes.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Frontend mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and experience with complex state management and data visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts, Highcharts).
• Backend & API proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, C#, Go) and scalable microservices design.
• Data object integration experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ORMs, and high-volume data feeds.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI models and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and familiarity with LangChain and vector databases.
• Public cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) with CI/CD tools, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong problem-solving and communication, translating complex requirements into technical solutions and architectural decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications across frontend to backend services.
• Architect and implement rich dashboards and data visualizations surface complex insights.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and integration layers with diverse data objects and third-party platforms.
• Champion AI/ML features integrated into core products to automate workflows and insights.
• Drive DevOps, cloud-native practices, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes deployments, and IaC.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling; lead root-cause analysis.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; set coding standards and design patterns.
• Navigate ambiguity with stakeholders to formulate robust solutions.
