Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences while mentoring engineering teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering with a focus on full-stack development and scalable applications.
Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.
Deep expertise in server-side languages and scalable microservices architectures.
Hands-on experience integrating AI models and APIs into software products.
Public cloud expertise and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) with CI/CD and containerization.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
Architect dashboards and data visualizations surface complex insights.
Design secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers.
Champion AI/ML features and automate user workflows.
Drive CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC for cloud deployments.
Mentor engineers and set coding standards; groom technical roadmap.
