Job summary

SmithRx seeks a Staff Endpoint Engineer in Plano, TX to own the enterprise endpoint architecture, vendor ecosystem, and asset strategy. You will define the multi-year roadmap, drive zero-touch management (Intune, Autopilot), and partner with Security and Compliance to meet HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements.

You will mentor teams, establish governance for CloudPC/AVD, and lead strategic vendor partnerships ensuring scalable, secure, compliant endpoint environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Systems Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or IT Infrastructure Operations.
• Experience leading architecture in SaaS-driven or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, EntraID/Intune, Autopilot, and zero-trust concepts.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year endpoint technology roadmap and standards.
• Lead zero-touch provisioning and compliance for enterprise fleets.
• Oversee vendor strategy and onboarding for enterprise tools.
• Architect governance for CloudPC/AVD and remote environments.
• Establish asset governance, licensing footprints, and lifecycle management.
• Drive automation for identity lifecycles and cross-system orchestration.
• Lead RCAs and corrective actions for major incidents.
• Align endpoint/Cloud strategies with HIPAA, SOC 2, and zero-trust.
