• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of electrical design experience from concept to production.
• Expertise in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout; ECAD proficiency.
• Strong experience in automation robotics or automotive platforms (mobile robots/AGVs/AMRs).
• Experience integrating electronics with mechanical, firmware, and controls.
• Knowledge of safety standards (SIL, ISO 13849, IEC 61508) is a plus.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI design and debugging.
• Strong DfX practice for manufacturability and testability.
• Ability to work within PDP/phase-gate processes and lead others.
• Experience with PLM, BOMs, ECNs and production releases.
• Strong communication to non-electrical teams; consensus builder.
• Results-driven, prioritizes programs and delivers outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Lead solutions to complex electrical problems at board, harness, and subsystem levels.
• Drive designs from concept through production for owned programs.
• Lead through PDP phases: gates, reviews, requirements, verification, release.
• Design schematics and PCB layouts in Altium; review others' layouts.
• Apply DfX principles to ensure manufacturability and serviceability.
• Work in PLM and with contract manufacturers to enable production.
• Write requirements and test plans; plan validation for safety and robustness.
• Investigate issues; lead containment and corrective design.
• Research and qualify components for robotics and automotive environments.
• Lead complex projects and advise on technical matters for the broader program.
• Travel to customer sites, contract manufacturers, and test facilities as required.
