Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior MBSE/system architecture expert to lead DODAF/SysML viewpoints and develop capabilities for the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE). You will collaborate across engineering disciplines to architect, design, and implement complex systems and produce clear data visualizations.

Role requires MBSE proficiency, Cameo Enterprise Architecture and Atlassian Suite experience, plus strong collaboration across teams and a history of deploying automation

Job description

• Analyze architectures and develop DODAF or SysML viewpoints
• Design and develop system architectures
• Define key capabilities and performance requirements for the Digital Engineering Ecosystem (DEE)
• Develop visualizations and merge datasets across functional disciplines
• Develop analytical interfaces for data presentation
• Assist in system architecture development
• Develop architecture, CONOPS, and use cases using model-based systems engineering methodologies
• Develop automation workflows for multidisciplinary functional processes
• Perform system requirements analysis
• Maintain the Digital Ecosystem
• Lead tool-to-tool integration
• Support partner onboarding into the digital engineering environment
• Travel to multiple site locations as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related professional/military experience, or Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related professional/military experience, or STEM Ph.D. and 8 years of related professional/military experience
• Active US Government Secret (or higher) clearance, with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
• Familiarity with Systems Engineering
• Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines to architect, design, or implement complex systems
• Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Up to 20% travel to multiple site locations as needed
• U.S. Citizenship is required for positions with a government clearance
• Preferred: Current, active Top Secret clearance
• Preferred: Experience in Aerospace Systems
• Preferred: Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering
• Preferred: Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architecture and SysML
• Preferred: Experience developing DODAF views using MBSE tools like Cameo
• Preferred: Experience with Agile product development
• Preferred: Experience using the Atlassian Suite
• Preferred: Experience in Digital Ecosystem design and maturity
