Job summary

Paris Health And Rehabilitation Center in Arkansas is seeking a Staff Development Nurse (RN) to lead educational programs for nursing staff in our long-term care facility. You will ensure regulatory compliance, staff competency, and high-quality resident care.

You will onboard new hires, coordinate in-service trainings, mentor nurses, and help manage scheduling and performance improvement initiatives to maintain clinical excellence and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse in Arkansas.
• Three years nursing experience minimum.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
• Clerical ability to read reports and use data accurately.
• Ability to organize and plan programs and manage personnel.
• Ability to plan and direct the department coordinating with other departments.

Position Summary: Staff Development Nurse ( RN )

The Staff Development Nurse (RN) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff within a long-term care/skilled nursing facility. This role ensures staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. The Staff Development Nurse plays a critical role in onboarding, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives while supporting a culture of clinical excellence, while also assisting with scheduling for CNAs and nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and continuity of quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff
