Job summary

NHS Management, LLC is seeking a Staff Development Nurse (RN) to lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff in a long-term care facility. You will ensure staff competency, regulatory compliance, and high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting onboarding and performance improvement initiatives.

You will help schedule CNAs and nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Arkansas.
• 3+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Experience developing staff education and onboarding programs.
• Ability to read and interpret reports and data.
• Strong organizational and personnel management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff.
• Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Evaluate staff competencies and coordinate in-service training.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.

Position Summary: Staff Development Nurse ( RN )

The Staff Development Nurse (RN) is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff within a long-term care/skilled nursing facility. This role ensures staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. The Staff Development Nurse plays a critical role in onboarding, ongoing training, and performance improvement initiatives while supporting a culture of clinical excellence, while also assisting with scheduling for CNAs and nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and continuity of quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse in Arkansas
• Experience in the long term care or working with the geriatric population as a Staff Development Nurse is highly preferred.
• Must have at least three years nursing experience
• Clerical ability is necessary to read reports and utilize data accurately for other purposes.
• Skill in organizing and planning programs and managing personnel to provide nursing service for residents.
• Ability to plan and direct the department, coordinating with other departments.
