Laurelwood Health Care Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator (LPN or RN) in Jackson, Tennessee. This full-time role focuses on developing and overseeing training for all staff, ensuring alignment with current guidelines and facility policies.

Responsibilities include planning education, maintaining records, and supporting nursing leadership. Licensed RN or LPN with at least two years of experience is required. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted LPN or RN license for the state of Tennessee.
• 2 years of work experience as a LPN or RN.

• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

SDC Position Summary

As the Staff Development Coordinator (LPN or RN) at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Participate in the completion of facility assessments determining the knowledge and skills required amongst staff to meet resident needs.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and oversee educational training as well as routine in-services for all staff.
• Review and update education routinely to reflect the most current guidelines associated to company policy and/or federal guidelines associated with long-term care.
• Assist with evaluating competencies and maintain all records and reports of trainings and evaluations.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or the Administrator.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

SDC Requirements
