Job summary

Laurelwood Health Care Center in Jackson, TN is seeking a Day Shift Nurse (LPN) to join our care team. The position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a supportive work environment focused on compassionate resident care.

The LPN will supervise CNAs, participate in admissions and transfers, and administer medications under physician orders while maintaining patient confidentiality and following care plans. A Tennessee license and CPR/BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee LPN license.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
• Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.
• Assess residents' conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.
• Initiate, review, and update care plans.
• Report any changes in a resident's condition to the nurse supervisor and keep them informed of factors that interfere with being able to perform work as assigned.
• Perform other assigned duties given by clinical or administrative leadership.

Nurse (LPN) Position Summary

As a Nurse at Laurelwood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

• Direct the daily activities of the CNAs and ensure policies and procedures are followed by nursing personnel.
• Participate in admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as required.
• Assess resident’s conditions, prepare, and administer medications per physician orders.

Day Shift Nurse (LPN) Requirements

• Current unrestricted LPN License for the state of Tennessee
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
