Job summary

Quality Private Duty Care in Tennessee is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join as Staff Development Specialist. You will lead orientation, develop educational programs, create learning resources, and collaborate with leaders to prepare staff for success.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, teaching HHA classes, designing materials, evaluating training, and traveling to offices across Middle and East Tennessee to support education initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years in healthcare, staff development, or education.
  • Experience in presenting and creating educational materials.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.

Job Description
  • Lead our Orientation program for new employees
  • Coordinate orientation schedules, instructors, and training resources
  • Teach Home Health Aide (HHA) classes
  • Design engaging presentations, manuals, newsletters, videos, job aids, and other educational materials
  • Develop and maintain employee education programs through our Quality Learning & Development initiative
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Partner with Human Resources, Clinical Leadership, Office Directors, and subject matter experts
  • Support company-wide education initiatives and special projects
  • Travel to company offices and training locations throughout Middle and East Tennessee
Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Healthcare

  • Organizational Development

Excellent presentation and public speaking skills Experience creating educational materials and learning resources Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Home Health Experience preferred
