Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead the data science organization, architect automated ML systems, and translate business needs into scalable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

You will own end-to-end model lifecycles, deploy robust ML products in production, mentor senior and mid-level data scientists, and partner with Engineering, Product, and Business to align technical efforts with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in ML frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD, ML Ops, and cloud production environments (AWS or GCP).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for leadership.
• Proven track record of building production ML systems with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Architect automated ML systems and scalable data infrastructure.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into technical roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end deployment of ML products in production.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business to align tech with goals.
• Establish technical standards and drive reproducibility.
