Realtor.com is seeking a Staff Data Scientist to lead measurement and analytics across consumer product experiences. You will own high-visibility problems end-to-end, mentor junior scientists, and set the technical bar for the team, partnering with Product and Engineering to drive impactful insights.

The role requires 8+ years in data science or related fields, strong experimentation, and fluency in SQL, Python, and BI tooling. This is a staff-level IC role with hybrid in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning.
• Track record of owning ambiguous, high-visibility analytical initiatives end-to-end.
• Deep experimentation fundamentals—A/B testing, power analysis, causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Own high-visibility, cross-team initiatives end-to-end from framing the question to recommendations.
• Set analytics and experimentation standards for the team.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape measurement roadmaps across consumer initiatives.
• Mentor senior and mid-level data scientists and elevate team rigor.
• Identify and prioritize leverage opportunities across consumer product portfolio.
• Model AI-native workflows to accelerate analytics and self-service data products.
• Translate complex findings for technical and executive audiences.
