Job summary

Dune is a distributed analytics platform focused on providing accessible on-chain data. In this Data Foundation role, you will shape how blockchain data enters and is delivered, tackling large distributed data systems, scalable ingestion, and end-to-end ownership from design through production.

You will work across Go, Kotlin, Rust and Python, balancing correctness, performance and scalability. You will join a fully remote-first, distributed team spanning Europe and the eastern US time zones,

Qualifications

• Strong generalist with CS fundamentals.
• Ability to derive solutions from first principles.
• Experience with distributed data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Turn product requirements into technical requirements and design interfaces and workflows.
• Break large problems into manageable work with clear sequencing.
• Drive high-impact architectural decisions across the data platform from design to production.
• Collaborate across Go, Kotlin, Rust and Python stacks, choosing the right tool for the job.
• Design for correctness and performance in large-scale ingestion and distributed processing.
• Improve design reviews, testing, and team planning; mentor engineers in a distributed team.
