Job summary

Dune is building a data platform that ingests petabytes of blockchain data and enables fast SQL queries across datasets. As a software engineer in Dune focused on Data you will design distributed systems, tackle multi-terabyte workloads, and contribute to data ingestion and decoding components.

You will write code in Kotlin and Go, with some Java and Rust, emphasize clean design and performance, and help improve developer tooling, testing, and deployment processes for a scalable, reliable

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals with ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Experience with distributed system design and large databases.
• Proficiency in JVM languages and modern systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed systems and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Tackle challenges in very large databases, SQL processing, and data modeling.
• Own components of the blockchain data platform such as ingestion/decoding.
• Write code primarily in Kotlin and Go with some Java and Rust.
• Improve developer experience with tests and deployment processes.
• Automate incident diagnosis and resolution using AI.
