Veza is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Graph Data Platform team. You will design, improve, and maintain the robust Veza Access Graph, collaborating across teams to deliver identity and access management experiences for customers.

This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development on scalable backend services. You will drive architecture decisions, set coding standards, mentor engineers, and help shape the future of our graph data systems in a security-conscious,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software development experience in scalable distributed systems.
• Experience with graph data structures, traversal, and large-scale data modeling.
• Proficiency in Go and building RESTful services in microservice architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the Veza Access Graph and define coding standards.
• Drive architecture and design reviews, ensuring scalable, secure solutions.
• Set roadmaps, manage dependencies, and deliver on commitments with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers, lead interview loops, and promote best practices across the org.
• Collaborate with PMs, TPMs, and ICs to align roadmaps and drive impactful outcomes.
