Job summary

Veza, now part of the ServiceNow family, seeks a Director of Platform Engineering to lead the core platform organization including Access Graph, integrations ecosystem, and data pipelines. You will shape architectural direction, drive adoption of scalable, secure, graph-native architectures, and partner with Product, Security, and GTM to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities.

You will mentor managers and engineers, drive complex roadmaps across multiple teams, and own the full talent lifecycle

Qualifications

• 12+ years in backend/platform software engineering.
• 6+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Experience scaling enterprise SaaS data platforms and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for Veza's platform organization.
• Own architecture decisions for distributed systems and large-scale data platforms.
• Partner with Tech Leads on high-impact architectural decisions for enterprise-grade scalability and security.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineering managers and senior engineers.
• Own talent lifecycle across the platform organization.
