Job summary

Zeta Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale the Identity Graph backend. You will design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.

Join a cloud-native, multi‑year roadmap, deploy on EKS/Kubernetes, and mentor engineers while ensuring reliability, observability, and performance for billions of signals per month. Experience with Kafka and Spark is required, as is strong Python/Java/Scala skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend and/or data engineering at enterprise scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with API design and distributed systems expertise.
• Experience with Kafka, streaming frameworks, and schedulers (Airflow/Luigi).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS cloud deployment practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs for identity resolution, graph transparency, and platform integrations.
• Optimize event-driven pipelines processing billions of signals.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native services on EKS/Kubernetes using Helm.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability across services and data pipelines.
