Realtor.com is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join our Data team in Austin. You will enable data-driven decisions by building scalable data platforms with governance, security, and cost awareness.

You’ll design modern data architectures, guide technical decisions, and own delivery of data in the data warehouse. Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with Agile practices and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building data pipelines and platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based architecture, development, and deployment.
• Knowledge of data structures, SQL, and schema design best practices.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering; Master’s a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data and AI architectures and models.
• Guide technical direction and influence teams across stakeholders.
• Ensure data governance, security, and cost efficiency in data platforms.
• Own delivery and reliability of data in the data warehouse and support production issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand data needs and provide guidance.
