Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Project Manager to lead and plan execution of measurement and regulation projects across the gas transportation system. You will manage end-to-end delivery, including cost estimates, schedules, scope, budget, risk, and governance, coordinating with stakeholders and contractors.

You will track costs and invoices, lead RFPs and contract negotiations, and ensure safe, high-quality facilities installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certification from a recognized university.
• 6+ years of detailed design, project management or field engineering experience.
• Without a degree, 9 years of experience required.
• Understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and stakeholders through meetings, contractor and team alignment, progress tracking, and corrective actions
• Safely deliver high-quality facilities installations
• Apply lessons learned, enhance engineering standards, and promote consistent organizational processes
• Travel to operating facilities, construction sites, and manufacturer’s facilities up to 25%

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or certification from a recognized university or college
• 6 or more years of progressively detailed design and/or project management and/or field engineering/management experience
• Without a degree, 9 years of experience is required
• General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations
• Demonstrated technical competence in at least one engineering field, with knowledge of others
• Exposure to construction and field operations
• Problem-solving, decision-making, organization, planning, and leadership skills
• Effective interpersonal skills for collaborative, team- and customer-focused work
• Valid driver’s license, verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire
• Ability to meet stated physical requirements, including light to moderate lifting up to 20 pounds
• Ability to meet stated mental requirements, including understanding instructions, solving complex problems, organizing work, making decisions, completing reports, and communicating by telephone
• Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
