The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, threat modeling, and collaboration with security and infrastructure teams in a fast‑paced product environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cloud or infrastructure security engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in AWS or GCP with knowledge of the other cloud.
• Experience shaping security architecture across teams and driving adoption.
• Hands-on IAM expertise: least privilege, cross‑account access, short‑lived credentials.
• Experience securing cloud workloads (Kubernetes, runtime protection).
• Strong Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation using Terraform; Python or Go.
• Experience with CSPM/CNAPP platforms and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define the Cloud Security architecture and guardrails across AWS and GCP.
• Lead complex security initiatives and influence engineering teams.
• Strengthen identity and access management and cross‑account access patterns.
• Develop reusable security capabilities and policy‑as‑code guardrails.
• Improve cloud telemetry, detection coverage, and threat response readiness.
• Partner with infrastructure teams to secure deployment paths and CI/CD.
• Mentor teammates and communicate risks and progress to stakeholders.
