Job summary

Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand, seeks a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to design and operate a multi‑cloud infrastructure powering global applications. You will architect secure landing zones, govern IAM, and lead Kubernetes deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will optimize cost, implement IaC pipelines, and enforce robust security controls while mentoring teams on cloud-native best practices in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering/SRE/DevOps with AWS and/or GCP.
• Linux shell scripting, kernel tuning; Windows AD/PowerShell.
• Production Kubernetes workloads at scale; Helm usage.
• Python/Go/Bash for automation and tooling.
• VPC/VNet design, peering, Transit Gateways, zero-trust model.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, multi-account AWS/GCP/Azure landing zones and IAM.
• Scale and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE); CNI, ingress, service meshes.
• Enforce tagging, hierarchies, and cost-optimization practices.
• Automate deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Flux/ArgoCD.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments with hardened configs and patching.
• Integrate Active Directory and optimize OS dependencies across clouds.
• Build modular IaC templates using Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi.
• Advance security controls: encryption, VPC Service Controls, audit logs.
• Leverage AI-native tools to accelerate IaC authoring and anomaly detection.
