Job summary

Datasite, a leading provider of data rooms and AI-enabled deal sourcing, seeks a senior Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to own cloud architecture across AWS, GCP and Azure. Based in Minneapolis or New York City, this hybrid role collaborates with engineering teams to deliver scalable, highly available platforms.

You will design multi-cloud networking, Kubernetes scale, and IaC foundations (Terraform), drive cost governance, and mentor engineers while supporting M&A integration plans.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience with architectural ownership.
• Production experience across at least two major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong Kubernetes platform experience (cluster topology, multi-cluster).
• Experience designing highly available systems (multi-region, multi-AZ).
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar.
• Anticipate capacity needs before blockers.
• Ability to influence technical direction without formal authority.
• Direct experience with M&A technical due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Design connectivity patterns: VPC/VNet peering, transit, and hybrid networking.
• Establish cloud cost visibility and governance without slowing engineering delivery.
• Own Kubernetes architecture at scale and platform primitives.
• Lead the infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform or equivalent.
• Partner on incident postmortems and architectural remediation as needed.
• Mentor senior engineers on architecture and system design.
• Support acquisition integration with blueprints and migration plans.
