Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand, is hiring a Sr. Staff Cloud Platform Engineer to reinforce our analytics realm within the Data Ops team. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines, drive Lakehouse components end-to-end, and collaborate with Infrastructure for batch and streaming processing.

You will work primarily with Python, Spark, Trino, and dbt in a GitOps-driven environment, mentoring engineers and delivering robust, data-driven analytics features.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience building and operating reliable data pipelines with analytics transformation and Lakehouse best practices.
• Proven track record with Apache Spark and Trino in distributed processing.
• Experience implementing dbt in production environments with modeling, testing, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg in production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Take end-to-end ownership of Lakehouse components from design to deployment, including batch and streaming.
• Collaborate with Data Ops and Product teams to ingest data from various sources and enhance analytics dashboards.
• Write RFCs, lead technical discussions, and mentor engineers in analytics within Lakehouse framework.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate monitoring and analytics requirements into actionable projects.
• Participate in team rituals and continuously improve data ingestion and exposure.
