An established healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Chaplain to join their dedicated team. This full-time position focuses on delivering spiritual care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Heart Institute. This is a Staff Chaplain Position, full time with major responsibilities to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Heart Institute. This is a daytime position with expected hours of 8:30 - 5:00.
This position is for a full time Pediatric Chaplain; assignment is expected to. be for the Heart Institute, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and Heart and Kidney unit as primary responsibilities.
Minimum Education
Religious training or education equivalent to a seminary/divinity school degree; preferably at the M.Div level (to be determined by the Senior
Chaplain/Manager of Pastoral and Spiritual Care.) Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the Association of Clinical Pastoral
Education (acpe.edu) or equivalent in terms of training expectations and objectives (to be determined by the Senior Chaplain/Manager of Pastoral
and Spiritual Care). (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
1 year Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (1600 hours of training under supervision), preferable by an accredited program of the Association of
Clinical Pastoral Education (acpe.edu) or equivalent in terms of training expectation and objectives, completed satisfactorily. One year experience in pediatric chaplaincy (may be met through a clinical pastoral education residency). (Required)
