Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Offer Delivery to lead backend architecture and drive the roadmap for a high‑throughput monetization service. You will own how bidding, pacing, and offer placement are implemented, shaping the platform with senior engineers and cross‑functional partners.

You’ll mentor teams, set high engineering standards, and collaborate with Ads products, ML, and platform groups to deliver robust, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Track record of owning a significant backend system and delivering it.
• Design and ship large-scale, latency-sensitive distributed services.
• Proficient in Go and gRPC; adaptable to best tool for the job.
• Experience with observability platforms and data streams.
• Able to design systems stable across changing requirements.
• Experience driving technical work across team boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design Offer Delivery services, features, and initiatives.
• Develop and operate Go services powering real-time bidding and direct offers.
• Mentor engineers, set engineering standards, and promote technical excellence.
• Drive cross-team delivery with product and Ad Viewer teams.
• Maintain high availability and reliability, participate in on-call rotations.
