Job summary

Unity is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Offer Delivery backend. You will architect and own Go services powering OpenRTB realtime auctions and direct offer placement, while mentoring engineers and driving cross-team delivery.

You’ll define technical vision, enforce reliability, and collaborate with auction, ML, and platform teams to scale Unity’s monetization stack globally.

Qualifications

• Proven backend ownership of a large system with delivery responsibility.
• Experience shipping latency-sensitive distributed services at scale.
• Strong Go backend skills with familiarity in OpenRTB contexts.
• Experience with observability, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Ability to influence across teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture for Offer Delivery services.
• Develop and operate Go services powering real-time bidding and direct offers.
• Set engineering standards and grow the team’s technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, Ad Viewer, and other Unity teams across regions.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalable performance.
