Nango is hiringSenior & Staff Backend Engineers to build the core platform and developer infrastructure. You will own backend systems end-to-end, from ideation and design to implementation, collaborating closely with developer customers and guiding product and architectural decisions.

You’ll design scalable APIs, SDKs, and a runtime that delivers exceptional DX, while actively engaging with the open-source community and shaping the platform's future direction in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years (senior) or 10+ years (staff) backend experience with scale.
• Deep familiarity with developer infrastructure, APIs, databases, and performance-critical systems.
• Passion for developer tools, DX and reliable remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale backend systems, APIs, and services for the platform.
• Build world-class developer interfaces: APIs, SDKs, UIs, and runtimes.
• Collaborate with customers to solve integration challenges.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability across backend services.
• Shape roadmap and strategy with ownership of key decisions.
• Engage with the open-source community and maintain the repo.
