Job summary

Nango, a developer infrastructure company, is hiring a Staff Platform Engineer to own the cloud platform end-to-end, including BYOC and private cloud deployments.

You will drive IaC and GitOps foundations, enforce reliability with strong SLOs, and oversee the data layer (Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse) at scale. This remote-first role supports North America, LATAM, or Europe regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles with production systems.
• Deep production Kubernetes experience and informed tooling choices.
• Experience operating in BYOC, single-tenant, or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS fluency; exposure to other clouds is a plus.
• Terraform as native workflow with modular and multi-account designs.
• Databases like Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch with performance under load.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure behind the platform, including compute, network and data layers.
• Lead BYOC deployments, provisioning, upgrades and observability at scale.
• Operationalize IaC and GitOps foundations for fast, reliable shipping.
• Make reliability a product feature with meaningful SLOs and incident processes.
• Shape the data layer and ensure security/compliance reviews are embedded.
• Contribute to roadmap decisions and product strategy with ownership mindset.
