Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend architectures powering our PSA Set Registry and related services. You’ll own features end-to-end and collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless experience for collectors.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in backend development, Python, microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases, and AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency and API design skills.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based backend architectures.
• Own end-to-end features from design to deployment.
• Review designs and code, and mentor teammates.
• Analyze existing apps and improve data models and performance.
• Design APIs for web and mobile experiences.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.
