Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and deliver cloud-native services that power our collectibles platforms. You will own features from design through production, partnering with product and engineering teams to implement scalable APIs and data models.

The role requires 7+ years of backend experience with Python, AWS, and modern data stores. You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on reliability, security, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building backend services.
• Strong proficiency in Python and relational/noSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS technologies (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Experience with IaC (CDK/CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Ability to design clean, extensible APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based backend architectures and features.
• Own end-to-end delivery from design to production release.
• Provide feedback on technical designs and code quality.
• Analyze existing applications and identify improvement areas.
• Contribute to API design supporting web and mobile experiences.
• Develop unit and integration tests and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement complex requirements.
