You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-impact features for millions of users, while ensuring reliability, performance, scalability, and a strong focus on user outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications with a focus on backend development.
• Proven experience with multiple programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, Go, or C).
• Experience building search infrastructure, large-scale APIs, or AI-powered systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and build high-impact features for Slackbot's large and rapidly growing user base.
• Drive search and intelligence to surface the right information across connected sources.
• Deliver high-quality results with measurable business and user impact.
• Own team features or core systems and guide their long-term health and roadmap.
• Assist operations teams in triaging and resolving complex production issues.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
