You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features, contribute to architecture decisions, and mentor teammates, all within Salesforce’s culture of trust and innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications with a backend focus.
• Proficiency in functional or imperative languages (PHP, Python, Java, Ruby, Go, or C).
• Experience building search infrastructure, large-scale APIs, or AI-powered systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and drive critical decisions.
• Write understandable, testable code with emphasis on maintainability.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval.
• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders across teams.

• Conceptualize and build high-impact features for Slackbot's large, growing user base.
• Drive search and intelligence to surface the right information across connected sources.
• Deliver high-quality results with measurable business impact.
• Own team features or core systems and guide their long-term health and roadmaps.
