Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend focus with Ruby on Rails or Python.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Ability to design and operate distributed, high-reliability systems.
• Experience with data pipelines, event-driven architectures, or real-time processing.
• Emphasis on reliability, testing, and documentation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend systems that ingest, process, and serve high-volume health data.
• Lead technical initiatives that improve data reliability, observability, and end-to-end system performance.
