Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking an ASIC Engineer to define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP/SoC development for high-performance, low-power products.

You will collaborate with software and hardware teams to meet system requirements and customer needs, leveraging RTL to GDS flows and EDA tooling to deliver robust blocks and full SoCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with 2+ years ASIC experience.
• Master's degree with 1+ year ASIC experience.
• PhD in Science or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Defines, models, designs (digital/analog), optimizes and verifies IP/SoC development.
• Creates architectures, circuit specs, logic designs, and system simulations.
• Collaborates with software/hardware teams to meet system requirements.
• Evaluates design flows from high-level design to place and route and timing.
• Uses RTL to GDS Flow and EDA tools to enable design of blocks/SoCs.
• Writes technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.
