You’ll lead enterprise architecture across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and governance while mentoring teams and driving architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically requires 7 years of experience designing and implementing technology architectures, including experience managing delivery of multiple simultaneous complex technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape Enterprise Solutions: Develop architectures aligned with strategic objectives, blueprints, and compliance standards.
• Strengthen Application Portfolio Management: Govern and evolve the application portfolio, evaluate applications and architecture alignment.
• Lead Architecture Governance: Participate in reviews, design gates, and maintain architecture standards and constraints.
• Drive Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture: Provide expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking, software with focus on Azure and modern hosting.
• Own Complex Architecture Work: Manage multiple architectures, develop and review designs, guide teams.
• Embed Security & Compliance: Evaluate decisions through security, risk, and regulatory lenses.
• Apply Modern AI Tools: Use GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and validate outputs.
• Identify Long-Term Business Value: Analyze business capability landscape and emerging tech for value.
• Evaluate Technology Partners: Review third-party platforms and integration into enterprise environment.
• Partner Across BECU: Collaborate with architects, technology leaders, and production teams.
• Develop Architecture Talent: Mentor junior architects and strengthen capabilities across teams.
