Rithum is seeking a Staff Information Security Engineer to own AI security guardrails, automate tooling, and design AI-centric security controls. You will balance research with rapid delivery, collaborating with Platform Engineering, IT, and auditors while building infrastructure-as-code driven security measures.

This remote-first role emphasizes safe AI adoption, policy enforcement, and continuous security improvement across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security engineering with AI/ML security depth.
• Experience using AI tools and LLM frameworks/APIs.
• Identity and access management across cloud environments.
• Infrastructure- and policy-as-code (Terraform, OPA/Rego).
• Cloud security with multi-account governance and guardrails.
• Application security and threat modelling methodologies (STRIDE/PASTA).
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls.

Responsibilities

• Bridge architectural intent with secure, implementable controls.
• Implement preventive security controls as code, including AI tool usage.
• Enforce identity and access controls for AI systems.
• Maintain the InfoSec risk register and translate threats into guidance.
• Support third-party and vendor risk assessments for AI pipelines.
• Automate security workflows and AI-assisted security agents.
• Integrate security tooling with LLM layers for automated responses.
• Define security requirements for AI-powered features.
• Conduct threat modelling on LLM-based systems.
