Temporal is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer to secure the development pipeline, product, and customer execution environment across multiple clouds. You will partner with software engineers and customers to bake security into the platform, and you will build production-ready AI-assisted security workflows with proper guardrails.

You will drive security strategy, lead threat modeling, and own vulnerability management across Cloud and Open Source products, while participating in

• 7+ years in application or product security
• Experience partnering with engineering teams
• Ability to write production-quality code
• Knowledge of encryption and secure communication
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST and pentesting
• Strong communication to non-technical stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed security in design and architecture of products.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Drive security strategy and set direction across multiple teams or org-wide.
• Manage the Secure Development pipeline including code security and third-party library supply chain security.
• Translate emerging standards into internal security policy and practices.
• Own vulnerabilities across Cloud and Open Source products, including on-call rotation.
