Job summary

EarnIn is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead reliability maturity with an AI-first operating model. You will guide AI‑assisted incident response, define SLIs/SLOs, and ensure scalable, trusted production systems.

This hybrid Mountain View role requires in‑office work 2 days a week and teamwork across product engineering, infrastructure, and security. You will mentor engineers, build AI‑driven runbooks, and shape the reliability culture across critical services using observability

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE or related roles with cross‑org influence.
• Proficient in Python or Go and building tools.
• Experience applying AI/LLMs to engineering workflows is a plus.
• Strong observability using Datadog, CloudWatch or similar.
• Infra as code with Terraform; cloud native on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Define reliability standards, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead AI‑assisted incident response and postmortems.
• Mentor engineers; drive adoption of reliable practices.
• Architect for resilience and scalable operations.
