Job summary

ServiceNow is hiring for a dynamic role in the AI Search UX team. You will drive quality and development excellence across the software lifecycle, building high-quality features, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance within the ServiceNow cloud platform.

You will own end-to-end development, implement UI components, APIs, and analytics, and collaborate with Product Owners in an agile environment while advancing AI-powered search capabilities for Fortune 500 customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar object-oriented languages
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, TestNG) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding software quality principles including reliability, observability, and production readiness
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance across the stack
• Experience with AI-powered tools or workflows, including validation of datasets and model predictions

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices
• Design and implement new products and features and enhance existing ones
• Develop admin UI components and search/machine-learning features
• Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and data pipelines
• Modify GraphQL, Java, and scriptable APIs to add functionality and fix defects
• Provide technical support for customer-reported UI/UX issues
• Own code from design through delivery with comprehensive test automation
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile SCRUM ceremonies
