The ideal candidate has 8+ years of AI/ML experience, strong Python/Java/CUDA skills, and a track record of operationalizing enterprise AI architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field plus 6–8 years of AI/ML experience
• 8+ years programming experience in Python/Go/Scala/CUDA/Java

Responsibilities

• Partner with a cross-functional team of engineers, researchers, PMs to deliver AI-powered products
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and LLM inference
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS technologies like AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch
• Optimize foundation model training and inference for performance, cost, latency, and throughput
• Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap for foundational AI systems at Capital One
• Set the technical direction for enterprise-wide AI architecture and deployment standards
