QXO is building an AI-native takeoff platform to measure buildings from plans, imagery, and 3D models. You will design systems that convert addresses, plans, or images into accurate material quantities and forecasts, guiding production across roofing, insulation, and exterior products.

The Staff Software Engineer will advance computer vision, geometry, LLMs, and scalable estimation, shaping product direction with product, UX, and sales leaders.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production software systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems in production, including LLMs.
• Experience building high-scale measurement, estimation, or forecasting systems.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, data pipelines, and service design for high-volume workloads.
• AI-native engineering: use of AI coding agents and tooling.

Responsabilidades

• Architect the measurement engine for extracting measurements from imagery and plans.
• Forecast materials from measurements including quantities and waste.
• Put AI into production with clear accuracy targets and evaluation harnesses.
• Build scalable services with low latency and high reliability.
• Extend the platform across roofing, insulation, and waterproofing lines.
• Mentor engineers and lead design reviews to raise engineering standards.
