Job summary

Invoca, the revenue infrastructure platform, seeks an AI-native Staff Design Engineer to define AI experience paradigms and execute horizontal user journeys across Platform, Intelligence & Analytics, and Conversational Agentic Experiences.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to shape onboarding, evaluation experiences, billing, and other critical journeys while advancing our design systems and craft.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across product design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture.
• Experience designing AI-powered or AI-native products, particularly agents, conversational interfaces, or intelligent workflows.
• Significant experience designing and shipping production web applications.
• Experience supporting or evolving design systems, component architectures, and reusable patterns.

Responsibilities

• Explore and prototype the future using code, AI, and emerging technologies, including evolving protocols such as A2UI.
• Spot the P0 problems and build horizontal experiences across AI, data, analytics, and revenue workflows.
• Partner with design system and engineering teams to create scalable patterns and components.
• Collaborate with Engineering on frontend architecture, implementation quality and accessibility.
• Raise the bar for craft across interaction design, visual design, motion, and product quality.
• Influence product direction with strong judgment, technical expertise, and vision.
• Mentor teammates and elevate craft without direct reports.
