Job summary

Handoff is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to own the AI-automated takeoff platform for enterprise construction accounts. You’ll embed with client teams, customize outputs, and integrate workflows with POS/ERP systems.

You’ll work with a dedicated Construction Account Manager, design robust APIs, and ensure delivery quality while meeting SLAs. 5+ years of software engineering, strong Node.js, Python, SQL, and client-facing skills are required; remote-friendly and USD salary offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Full-stack proficiency: Node.js, Python, and SQL for custom outputs and integrations.
• Strong client-facing skills and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for 2-3 enterprise accounts.
• Customize core deliverables to client templates and branding.
• Automate intake and delivery workflows with file transfers and API payloads.
• Expose APIs and map SKU items to supplier catalogs.
• Assess client tech stacks and plan integration paths.
• Lead weekly calibration reviews and ensure accuracy targets.
• Meet SLAs and provide first-line support.
• Document account-specific configurations.
