Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture and development of core applications, bridging backend data systems with AI capabilities and intuitive frontend experiences. You will design dashboards, build resilient microservices, and orchestrate integrations with data objects and third-party platforms.

You will mentor teams, set coding standards, and guide the technical roadmap while embedding AI-driven features to automate workflows and deliver insights across Payer Operations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and experience with complex state management and data visualization libraries.
• Deep expertise in server-side languages and scalable microservices architectures.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases and integrating high-volume data feeds.
• Hands-on AI model integration and familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks.
• Public cloud expertise and strong CI/CD, containerization, and IaC skills.
• Excellent communication of architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Full Stack Development: Lead end-to-end design of scalable web applications.
• Dashboarding & Data Visualization: Build rich dashboards surface data insights effectively.
• Backend & Data Integrations: Develop secure APIs and integrate data objects and third-party platforms.
• AI Enablement & Implementation: Integrate AI/ML capabilities into core products.
• DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure: Drive CI/CD, containers, and IaC for reliable releases.
• Operational Excellence: Establish monitoring and performance profiling across the stack.
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Guide engineers and shape the technical roadmap.
• Self Starter: Handle ambiguity by engaging stakeholders to clarify requirements.
