Job summary

Invoca is seeking a Staff Design Engineer to shape the next generation of AI-powered experiences. You will work across Platform, Intelligence & Analytics, and Conversational Agentic Experiences, defining AI paradigms and building production-ready interfaces with design, code, and emerging tech.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to guide horizontal journeys, drive adoption, and elevate craft.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across product design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong frontend architecture, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture demonstrated through a design portfolio or GitHub link or similar tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered or AI-native products, particularly agents, conversational interfaces, or intelligent workflows ideally with agentic development tools to accelerate product delivery.
• Significant experience designing and shipping production web applications.
• Experience supporting or evolving design systems, component architectures, and reusable patterns.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define AI experience paradigms and translate new technologies into useful, intuitive, and trustworthy experiences.
• Define and execute horizontal user journeys that span product pillars, including onboarding, evaluation experiences, billing, and other journeys.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence how customers discover, adopt, and get value from Invoca.
• Mentor and elevate others within the design team and craft patterns for scalable components and abstractions.
• Partner with design system and engineering teams to ensure consistency, accessibility, and high-quality implementations.
