Job summary

Invoca is seeking a Staff Design Engineer to define and build the next generation of AI-driven experiences. You will work across Platform, Intelligence & Analytics, and Conversational Agentic Experiences, prototyping to production using design, code, AI, and emerging technologies.

You will own AI experience paradigms and horizontal user journeys, partnering with Product and Engineering to influence onboarding, adoption, and revenue-related workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years across product design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience designing AI-powered or AI-native products, particularly agents, conversational interfaces, or intelligent workflows.
• Significant experience designing and shipping production web applications.
• Experience supporting or evolving design systems, component architectures, and reusable patterns.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture.

Responsibilities

• Explore and prototype the future using code, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Define AI experience paradigms across product areas including agents and copilots.
• Define and execute horizontal user journeys spanning onboarding, evaluation, billing, and other journeys.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence discoverability and value realization of Invoca experiences.
• Mentor others and elevate craft across interaction, visual design, and implementation quality.
• Partner with design system and engineering teams to scale reusable patterns and architectures.
