Job summary

Invoca is seeking a Staff Design Engineer to shape AI-native experiences across Platform, Intelligence & Analytics, and Conversational Agentic Experiences. You will prototype and build from concept to production, leveraging design, code, AI, and emerging tech.

You will own AI experience paradigms and end‑to‑end journeys, partnering with Product and Engineering to drive adoption, onboarding, and engagement. This role emphasizes craft and scalable design patterns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across product design, design engineering, frontend engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture.
• Experience designing AI-powered or AI-native products, particularly agents, conversational interfaces, or intelligent workflows.
• Significant experience designing and shipping production web applications.
• Experience supporting or evolving design systems, component architectures, and reusable patterns.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, performance, and frontend architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define AI experience paradigms across product areas including agents and conversational experiences.
• Define and execute horizontal user journeys spanning product pillars such as onboarding, evaluation, billing and more.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence discovery, adoption and value realization.
• Contribute to evolving design systems and libraries for scalable patterns.
• Mentor others and raise craft quality across interaction, visual design, and implementation.
