Job summary
Muon Space seeks a Staff Advanced Programs Lead - EO/IR to drive strategic capture efforts and develop new market opportunities through innovative mission formulations and advanced concepts. Qualifications
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a technical field related to Earth observation, remote sensing, or space systems.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical concepts and mission requirements.
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams and managing complex mission formulation projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of mission formulation contracts and guide cross-functional teams to deliver mission concepts and supporting documentation.
- Drive strategic capture campaigns for EO/IR and related space missions across government and commercial markets.
- Oversee end-to-end programs from early engagement to design concepts and mission delivery.
- Lead early-stage R&D activities as Principal Investigator when applicable.
- Create technical proposals, white papers, and concept studies to showcase Muon’s differentiated offerings.
