Job summary
Muon Space is seeking a Senior Mission Formulation Lead to guide strategic capture, explore new markets, and connect scientific innovation with business development. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams to conceptualize and validate missions leveraging Muon technologies, engaging directly with customers to define requirements and roadmaps.

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a technical field with 5+ years in RF/remotely sensing missions.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary mission formulation and proposals.
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, program management, and BD.
Responsibilities
- Lead mission formulation contracts and cross-functional teams to deliver mission concepts.
- Drive strategic capture campaigns across government and commercial RF domains.
- Oversee multi-stage programs from engagement to design concepts and delivery.
- Lead early-stage R&D activities as Principal Investigator.
- Create technical proposals, white papers, and concept studies to showcase differentiation.
- Perform literature reviews and trade studies for early-stage mission concepts.
- Translate customer pain points into technical requirements and solutions.
- Collaborate with product, business development, and engineering to identify new markets.
